Accessible symbol Metrobus is pleased to offer wheelchair accessible service on route 1 through the use of accessible low floor (ALF) buses. The boarding ramp can be used at over 80% of bus stops with more than 40% of stops deemed to be fully accessible for customers using mobility devices. Metrobus is introducing wheelchair accessible service on a phased in basis to increase access for customers using mobility devices.

Metrobus

What is a Run Number?

Some of our routes have more than one bus servicing them at one time, so the run number allows you to distinguish between the different buses that are operating on the same route. The first number in the run number represents the route number and the second number (after the dash) represents the number of buses on the route. For example, route 10 during the Fall/Winter schedule has up to seven buses operating on it at the same time so you will see a 10-1, 10-2, 10-3, 10-4, 10-5, 10-6 and 10-7. These are pronounced, ten dash one, ten dash two, ten dash three and so on.

Knowing your run number allows you to check TimeTrack, our AVL system, and determine the location and schedule status of your bus.
